Zozibini Tunzi fronts Top Billing’s big return, here’s who else is joining her.

South Africa’s iconic, long-running entertainment and lifestyle TV programme, Top Billing, has officially announced its line-up of presenters for 2026.
The list includes familiar faces such as Basetsana Khumalo, Dr Michael Mol, Dr Fezile Mkhize, Jonathan Boynton-Lee and Ryle De Morny. Four new presenters have also been named, including Miss Universe 2019, Zozibini Tunzi.
According to the show, Tunzi will feature in the premiere episode and is set to bring her grace, intelligence and unmistakable presence to the Top Billing family.
Top Billing returns to screens on Thursday, 30 April 2026 at 7pm on S3, formerly known as SABC3.
This marks the comeback season of the 27-year-old show, which went off air in 2019 after the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) cancelled it due to high production costs.
According to S3, the new season will focus on young, urban, intelligent and culturally aware South Africans who are shaping the future through collaboration, creativity and innovation.

Zozibini Tunzi

Global trailblazer and Miss Universe 2019, Zozibini Tunzi is one of South Africa’s most celebrated exports. Widely respected for her advocacy on gender-based violence, education and women’s empowerment, she brings intelligence, authenticity and international prestige to Top Billing, offering a fresh lens on modern success and storytelling.
Bryoni Govender

A qualified legal professional and Miss South Africa 2023 runner-up, Bryoni Govender is stepping into her new role as a Top Billing presenter. With a strong academic background and a passion for meaningful impact, she represents a new wave of young South Africans who are both purpose-driven and ambitious. Her poise, intelligence and relatability position her as a compelling and authentic voice for contemporary lifestyle storytelling.
Arno Greeff

Talented actor and presenter Arno Greeff joins Top Billing after building a strong following through popular television dramas, including long-running Afrikaans series such as Binnelanders and the hit series Blood & Water. With his natural on-screen presence, charisma and versatility, he brings a youthful energy to the show and a fresh, modern edge that connects with a new generation of viewers.

Sine Mpulu joins the new season as Top Billing’s dedicated social media presenter, bringing a fresh, digitally driven perspective to the iconic brand. She will extend the Top Billing experience beyond the television screen by taking viewers behind the scenes, sharing exclusive moments with presenters and guests, and driving real-time conversations across the show’s digital platforms.
Returning Top Billing presenters:

Dr Michael Mol
One of South Africa’s most recognisable and enduring television personalities, Dr Michael Mol returns to Top Billing, where he became a household name over many years. With a career spanning decades in broadcasting, he has hosted a range of talk, health and lifestyle programmes. He is known for his warm, approachable style and his ability to connect with audiences.
Basetsana Kumalo
Former Miss South Africa 1994 and Miss World runner-up, Basetsana Kumalo is one of the original Top Billing presenters from nearly three decades ago and remains a true South African icon. A successful businesswoman, philanthropist, media personality and executive producer, she has built a powerful personal brand centred on empowerment, leadership and elegance. Her return marks a full-circle moment, bringing a wealth of experience and inspiration to the new season.
Jonathan Boynton-Lee
After winning the Top Billing Presenter Search in 2012, Jonathan Boynton-Lee quickly became one of the country’s most beloved television personalities. Beyond the screen, he is an accomplished filmmaker, director and actor, bringing a unique cinematic perspective to every insert he touches. His natural charm, versatility and strong connection with viewers make him a perfect fit for the show’s new chapter.
Dr Fez Mkhize
A firm fan favourite since the 2018 Presenter Search on 3, Dr Fez Mkhize is the quintessential modern Renaissance man. Balancing his career as a medical doctor with his work as an actor and presenter, he brings an intelligent and empathetic voice to the show. Ryle De Morny
Actor and presenter Ryle De Morny is best known for waking up Mzansi on the Expresso Morning Show. Affectionately known as “Nature Boy”, he is a professional lifeguard and previously held the title of South Africa’s fastest man on sand. He brought a new level of physical dynamism to Top Billing after winning the 2018 Presenter Search on 3. His passion for fitness, environmental conservation and the outdoors aligns perfectly with the show’s lifestyle pillars, offering an inspiring blueprint for a new generation of viewers.
