Lu Mingyu has endured a decade of psychological torment within the Lu family. Later, she meets Duan Xiuming and initially uses him as a means to escape her oppressive environment. However, she gradually realizes his absolute obedience, trust, and unwavering support for her. Over time, she falls in love with him. In the end, Lu Mingyu successfully breaks free from the Lu family, regains her freedom, pursues her artistic career, strengthens herself, and rediscovers the radiant, confident self she once was at the age of twelve.
