Mpumalanga police are investigating a murder case following the discovery of three burnt bodies in the bush in Hazyview.
The bodies, which have not yet been identified, were found burnt beyond recognition on Wednesday, 22 April 2026.
A 29-year-old man has been taken in for questioning in connection with cases of kidnapping and murder.
Investigations are underway to determine whether the victims are linked to three people who were reported kidnapped in Nelspruit on 14 April 2026.
The motive for the killings remains unclear, and police say more information will be released as the investigation progresses.
