CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro — A multi-day training on monitoring the critically endangered Mindoro hornbill has concluded at a sanctuary in Mindoro, conservation groups said Sunday. The training, held from April 21 to 24, 2026 at the Mt. Calavite Wildlife Sanctuary in Paluan, Occidental Mindoro, was aimed at strengthening biodiversity tracking efforts across the island.
