Qin Chang’an (Robert Parker), a legendary figure of his generation, is not only the founder of the world’s top mythical Dragon King Group, but also a revered miracle doctor admired by millions. Yet, he chooses to disguise himself as a beggar, wandering among ordinary people and helping the kind-hearted fulfill their dreams.
At this time, Su WanSan, the wealthiest magnate in Great Xia, is desperate—his eldest daughter, Su Bingling, has been struck by a mysterious and incurable illness. Despite offering an enormous reward, no one has been able to cure her.
Meanwhile, his second daughter, Su Xuejiao, encounters Qin Chang’an on the street, holding a broken bowl. Moved by compassion, she gives him some spare change. Recognizing her kindness, Qin Chang’an promises to grant her any wish. He then follows her back to the Su family residence and successfully awakens Su Bingling from her illness.
Grateful for saving his daughter’s life, Su WanSan offers Qin Chang’an a place in the family as his son-in-law. However, Qin Chang’an politely declines, revealing that he already has a fiancée.
