MANILA, Philippines — The Bangsamoro Federalist Party (BFP) and the United Bangsamoro Justice Party (UBJP) remained the top regional parliamentary political party (RPPP) in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) parliamentary elections, the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) reported on Tuesday.
Based on the PPCRV’s unofficial parallel count as of 5:30 a.m., the BFP still led the region’s political party race with 652,227 votes (35.0 percent).
This was followed by UBJP with 604,968 votes (32.4 percent), then the BARMM Grand Coalition with 385,396 votes (20.7 percent), and the Bangsamoro Peoples’ Democratic Party, also known as the Rayaat Democratic Party, with 67,800 votes (3.6 percent).
The four parties met the RPPP’s 2.5 percent threshold to secure a seat in the 80-member parliament.

Below is the partial PPCRV tally vote distribution among the other parties:
- Progresibong Bangsamoro Party (Pro Bangsamoro Party): 36,380 (2.0 percent)
- Bangsamoro Party (BAPA): 35,322 (1.9 percent)
- Bangsamoro Empowerment and Social Transformation Party (BEST Party): 26,711 (1.4 percent)
- Moro Ako Party: 16,684 (0.9 percent)
- Mahardika Party (Mahardika): 14,677 (0.8 percent)
- Alliance of Bangsamoro Tri-People’s Party (ABOT): 11,229 (0.6 percent)
- People’s Consultative (Mushawara) Party: 8,003 (0.4 percent)
- Indigenous, Settlers, Sama and Minorities Alliance Party (ISAMA): 3,297 (0.2 percent)
- Partido Bangon Bangsamoro (PBB): 2,576 (0.1 percent)
The 40 RPPP seats will be distributed based on each party’s share of the vote, with the party’s nominees filling the seats it wins, according to the Bangsamoro Transition Authority.
The remaining seats will be composed of 32 district representatives and eight sectoral representatives.

As of 5:30 a.m., the Commission on Elections logged 97.79 percent, or 5,097, from the expected 5,212 election returns. /jpv
