MANILA, Philippines — Some Isabela State University (ISU) students in Echague wore black on Monday, Sept. 21, to commemorate the 54th anniversary of martial law under Ferdinand Marcos Sr. The ISU Echague Supreme Student Council had called on students over the weekend to wear black to “remember one of the darkest chapters” in Philippine history.
