Bigg Boss Season 20 Episode 29: Bigg Boss Hindi’s Weekend Ka Vaar spread across Saturday and Sunday was a light and fun-filled episode with celebrity guests walking into the house, new songs being introduced, games being played, and contestants getting enough opportunities to temporarily forget that they are, in fact, trapped inside a house where every sentence can turn into an argument.
Peace inside Bigg Boss is short-lived; one minute everyone is singing, the next someone is a mosquito, and suddenly we are back in the universe. The episode was also about clarifications, statements and fallouts.
Bigg Boss Season 20 Episode 29: Mika Singh Brings Music Into the House
Episode 29 of Bigg Boss 20 opened on a musical note with Mika Singh entering the Bigg Boss house. Mika introduced his new song and also joined the housemates for some singing, instantly giving the episode a much-needed dose of fun with a task to put a “chup” sticker on the housemate who one thinks speaks too much. This task revealed the dynamics following the bickers in the previous episode.

For a little while, the house did not feel like a battleground of alliances, grudges and whispered conversations. It felt like a party, and honestly, the contestants looked like they needed one.
Mary Kom Gets the Least Votes
The episode also brought an update on the week’s nominations. Mary Kom received the least number of votes among the nominated contestants.

However, there was no eviction this week. Rhiti Tiwari had already left the house during the mid-week eviction, becoming the season’s first mid-week eviction. Therefore, despite receiving the fewest votes among the nominated housemates, the week ended without another contestant walking through the tunnel to the exit door.
Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan Turn the House Into an “Udta Teer” Zone
The entertainment continued with celebrities joining: Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan also joined the episode to promote their film, Udta Teer, and the promotion came with a game.

The contestants, who were already divided into two groups, with Mahi Vij, Uditi Singh, Aman Gandhi, Arishfa Khan and Qazi Touqeer in one and Amrapali Dubey, Love Gill, Yung DSA, ScoutOP and Aasif Khan in the other, were asked to give an “udta teer” to a member of their own group whom they felt deserved it the most.

Even though one group had a tie in who received the maximum “udta teer”, in the other, Aasif received an overwhelming majority of “udta teer” stuck to him. It was a playful task, but it also gave everyone another little peek into how the contestants see each other.
Group Fallouts Began on Saturday
The bigger drama that continued to Sunday, however, came from within the group involving Mahi, Qazi, Uditi, Aman and Arishfa. On Saturday, Salman Khan revealed that Aman, Uditi and Arishfa discussed Mahi behind her back. The three explained that they intended to tell Mahi the same thing to her face as well after observing for a while.
Technically, the defence was that yes, we were talking about her, but we were going to tell her. They mentioned that Qazi, in fact, was passing by when they were talking. However, when the host asked Qazi about the same, he denied hearing such a conversation.

After Salman Khan had left, Qazi admitted that he had actually heard what Aman said, and there was a completely new problem that arose because now the conversation was not just about what the three said about Mahi, but it was about why Qazi denied hearing something that he had heard.
Aman pointed out that Qazi could have acknowledged hearing them talking; instead, Qazi brushed it off, and that tiny moment became another crack in the already complicating equation of the group.
Arishfa and Qazi Have Another Battle
Arishfa and Qazi got into a bicker in Episode 28, with Qazi maintaining that Arishfa was “battameez”. Arishfa wanted to have a conversation with Mahi and repeatedly asked Qazi to be quiet while she was speaking.

This is where the Bigg Boss house becomes comically relatable: everyone wants to be heard, nobody wants to listen, everyone is explaining themselves, and somewhere in between the original issue disappears behind the five latest issues.
The argument between Arishfa and Qazi was less about one particular sentence and more about the increasing friction between them.
Salman Khan Wants The Housemates to Stop Being Afraid of Weekend Ka Vaar
Amid all of this, Salman Khan brought up something far more important than any usual fight: visibility. During the Weekend Ka Vaar episodes, Salman Khan pointed out that the housemates have started becoming hesitant about speaking because they are afraid of being reprimanded when the weekend arrives.
Honestly, it is an interesting problem this season. Bigg Boss contestants know that they are being watched every second, but somehow seem to think a step ahead about the consequences of their actions on the weekend episode.

Salman Khan reminded them that everyone can be wrong sometimes. Nobody inside the house is going to have the perfect reaction every single time. The host gives a perspective on what happened, but that does not mean the contestants should spend the entire week sitting silently because of what might be said on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, the host also cleared the air around him being biased towards Qazi, explaining that everyone is equal to him and he would not have exposed Qazi’s prank if her was really biased.
Bigg Boss 20 Episode 29 Was About Speaking Up
The episode was about the internal dynamics, followed by an episode where Salman Khan explicitly told the contestants to be more visible.

Bigg Boss is not a place where everyone gets right every time. It is a place where every contestant is constantly forced to reveal what they think, feel and occasionally what they would keep hidden, and Episode 29 had some revealing moments: The conversation about Mahi; Qazi caught between hearing something and admitting he heard it; Arishfa and Qazi’s disagreement. Salman Khan stood in the middle of all of it, asking the housemates to do one thing they seem afraid of: visibility.
