Bigg Boss 20 Episode 47 offered a mix of moods, from a task that had the housemates getting out of the captaincy race to conversations that mattered because they included the loved ones from outside the house. Qazi Touqeer was bothered by Mahhi Vij’s behaviour, Uditi Singh found herself struggling emotionally, and Scout was seen missing Kaashvi. Meanwhile, Mahhi’s comment about Qazi talking to Uditi Singh and Arishfa Khan as doing their “PR” also sat in the episode.
The Bigg Boss had a conversation about a pet, which soon turned into a complete situation.
Bigg Boss 20 Episode 47: Who Is Finally In the Captaincy Race
The episode began with the task being continued from the previous episode, featuring Qazi, Aasif, Scout, Yung, Uditi and Arishfa to eliminate housemates from the race to captaincy.
The first face-off was between Aasif Khan and Qazi Touqeer; with Aasif winning, he eliminated Qazi and Gullu from the captaincy race. The next round, which had Yung DSA and ScoutOP face to face, brought Yung victorious, removing Uditi Singh and Arishfa Khan from the race. In the final round, Uditi emerged victorious, defeating Arishfa, followed by removing Yung and Scout from the race. With the three rounds and multiple rounds of elimination, the task gave a list of contestants still in the captaincy race.
The housemates still a part of the race, after all the removals, are: Kanika Mann, Mahhi Vij, Love Gill, Amrapali Dubey, Mary Kom, Aasif Khan, and Manish Goel.
Qazi Is Upset With Mahhi While Mahhi Feels Irritated
Qazi Touqeer was later seen discussing Mahhi’s behaviour with Uditi Singh and Arishfa Khan. He appeared hurt by the way she treated him, suggesting that whatever had happened during the task was still playing on his mind.
Mahhi Vij, meanwhile, was having her own conversation with Gullu and Kanika Mann. She explained that she did not particularly like Qazi’s habit of repeatedly bringing up the same issue and said that she had, in fact, reduced the time she spent with him.
While Qazi seems to want the issue addressed, Mahhi appears tired of Qazi’s habit of revisiting the issues. Both perspectives can exist, but the issues being resolved is not a guaranteed thing, especially inside the Bigg Boss house. If Mahhi has already started distancing herself from Qazi as she claims, it is worth wondering whether the distance will actually allow the things to be settled or widen the gap.
In the episode, Arishfa and Uditi were also seen discussing Mahhi’s comment after she told Qazi not to do their “PR”. The comment appeared to have bothered the two, who discussed the fact that they never considered approaching Qazi for their “PR”.
Uditi Breaks Down Missing Laila
The following day, Uditi Singh was seen crying and talking about having anxiety. Arishfa stayed with her, trying to console her, as Amrapali approached Uditi to check if she was fine. Uditi spoke about missing Laila, her pet. When Amrapali returned after checking on Uditi, Scout asked whether the latter had been crying, and as Amrapali confirmed that she was, Scout responded by asking whether he should bring a bucket because she was crying.
The ‘Female Dog’ Conversation Soon Becomes An Issue
Later, a conversation in the garden brought another disagreement into the picture. Qazi was talking to Mahhi Vij and Kanika Mann about what a female pet dog would be called. Mahhi directly told Uditi about the conversation, and Uditi did not appear to take the subject well; it seemed particularly sensitive for her. Mahhi also told Uditi that she had seen her dog in her dream. Later, Qazi was seen asking Mary Kom what a dog is called in her language.
The exchange became awkward as the subject had already been emotionally exhausting for Uditi and with her having spoken about missing Laila and being possessive about her earlier, the conversation seemed to have landed differently.
Scout Talks About Kaashvi
Scout was seen with Kaashvi’s, his friend outside the house, photo. Scout spoke about Kaashvi’s habits, mentioning that she does not really wear makeup. Love compared Kaashvi to herself, and Scout agreed to the comparison. Love also teased Scout about how he managed to have such a beautiful woman in his life.
Later in the episode, Kanika Mann while sitting with Gullu and Scout, was seen asking Scout Kaashvi’s date of birth, which he clearly did not remember. Kanika then spoke to the camera, addressing Kaashvi to look at this and reminding her that he does not remember her birthday. Gullu was seen taking Scout’s side, generalising that women are supposed to remember the dates. The friendly banter also had the three talk about relationships.
Bigg Boss Season 20 Episode 47: Housemates Are Missing Their Loved Ones
Episode 47 of Bigg Boss 20 moved between tasks, personal disagreements and some emotional moments. The episode also offered smaller glimpses of the contestants beyond disagreements, from Scout talking about Kaashvi to Uditi missing Laila. Not every moment was a confrontation in the episode.
The biggest question going forward is whether the housemates will start addressing what actually bothers them instead of allowing each conversation to boil to become another reason of a full-fledged fight because at this point, even small discussions seem to take different shapes.
