Same date spot, new partner… is that normal or just lazy?

In light of The Game trending for allegedly using the same pick-up line on multiple women, an interesting conversation came up on Siz The World.
This follows several women sharing nearly identical DMs, allegedly sent by him.
It raised a simple but relatable question: does it matter if you take your current partner to the same places you used to go with your ex? Or do the same activities?
Mpho Maboi agreed with Sizwe Dhlomo.
“I don’t believe I have to upend my entire life because we broke up. If I like a particular place, I am still going to go there. And yes, I will take the next person there too.”
Mbali Thethane saw it differently.
She said it feels tacky, especially if it is something that was meaningful in a previous relationship.
Sizwe stood firm on his point.
“Now I have to go find another restaurant just because you don’t want to go somewhere I’ve been before?”
It is one of those debates where there is no clear answer, just different boundaries and expectations.
