Final run: Kaizer Chiefs’ last four fixtures

As reported on Wednesday night, Kaizer Chiefs’ seven-match unbeaten run ended with a 2-0 loss to Siwelele FC in Bloemfontein.

The result left Amakhosi safely in third place and in contention for a CAF Confederation Cup spot with 47 points, while AmaZulu lurk in fourth with 42.

WHAT’S NEXT FOR KAIZER CHIEFS?

With the season coming to its conclusion next month, the Glamour Boys have four fixtures remaining in the 2025/26 Betway Premiership.

The very next outing is away to the champions Mamelodi Sundowns on Wednesday 6 May at 19:30, followed by a trip up the N1 to Limpopo to battle Sekhukhune United on Sunday 10 May at 17:30.

Kaizer Chiefs’ remaining fixtures include a trip to Durban to face Arthur Zwane’s AmaZulu FC on Saturday, 16 May at 15:00, before concluding their season at home against Chippa United on Saturday, 23 May.

REPORTED COACHING CHANGE

Looking ahead to next season, Kaizer Chiefs are linked with another change on the coaching front. Co-coaches Cedric Kaze and Khalil Ben Youssef are rumoured to be on the way out when their contracts end in June.

The Soweto giants are linked with Golden Arrows’ Manqoba Mngqithi and former TS Galaxy head coach Sead Ramovic who is currently in charge of Algerian giants CR Belouizdad.
