MANILA, Philippines — Before leaving the defense of team of former President Rodrigo Duterte, Nicholas Kaufman, in one of his final contributions, asked a trial chamber of the International Criminal Court (ICC) to reconsider Duterte’s request for interim release as he has been reported to have been experiencing occasional “loss of balance” and “short-term memory.”
