
MANILA, Philippines — Authorities continue investigating the June 22 fatal shooting at San Jose National High School in Tacloban City that left three dead.
The number of students injured in the deadly shooting has also risen to 20, police said.
Amid growing concern over youth violence, lawmakers have renewed calls to study stricter safeguards for minors, including proposals to restrict social media access for children below 15 years old and strengthen school safety and mental health programs nationwide.
