Badoy suspended as doctor for red-tagging health workers

MANILA, Philippines — Former anti-insurgency task force spokesperson Lorraine Marie Badoy has been suspended from practicing medicine for six months by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Medicine. The penalty was triggered by her public statements tagging health workers as members or affiliates the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army-National Democratic Front (CPP-NPA-NDF).
