Meanwhile, @enews wrote, “In the new season of ‘Earle Meets World,’ Alix Earle recounted a surprise run-in with ex-boyfriend Braxton Berrios.“

This is how reality television works now: the episode is the source material; the internet becomes the reviewers; and tea is the thesis submission.

We Do Not Just Watch; We Investigate

Social Media has changed the relationship between the viewer and the reality TV star. The audience does not disappear when the episode ends: if follows the cast on Instagram; check their X; look for old interviews; keep track of who unfollowed whom; read comments; compare timelines; wait for the next series of fights. Alix Earle most accurately suited the ecosystem because her fame was born there.
