Song Yan (Lila Sone) and Jiang Yunzhen (Jason Jane) had been in love for eight years, only for her to learn that he had proposed to his “white moonlight,” Wen Shuyu, at her birthday party every year for eight consecutive years—and had finally succeeded.
Jiang Yunzhen tried to explain that his marriage to Wen Shuyu was only a sham, but Song Yan’s heart was already broken beyond repair. She chose to leave without hesitation.
