MANILA, Philippines – The Bangsamoro Federalist Party (BFP) remained the top regional parliamentary political party in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) parliamentary elections, followed by the United Bangsamoro Justice Party (UBJP) according to the data from the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV).
Based on PPCRV’s data server as of 9:56 a.m., BFP is still leading the race for political parties with 658,970 votes (35.1 percent), followed by UBJP with 607,907 votes (32.4 percent); Bangsamoro Grand Coalition with 385,491 votes (20.6 percent); and Raayat Democratic Party with 67,845 votes (3.6 percent).

The Bangsamoro Autonomy Act (BAA) No. 35, as amended by BAA No. 88, provides that parties receiving at least 2.5 percent of the total valid votes for the party representation race are entitled to be allocated party representation seats.
Meanwhile, the remaining political parties secured the following votes:
- Progresibong Bangsamoro Party: 36,482 votes (1.9 percent)
- Bangsamoro Party: 35,392 votes (1.9 percent)
- Bangsamoro Empowerment and Social Transformation Party: 26,743 (1.4 percent)
- Moro Ako Party: 16,701 votes (0.9 percent)
- Mahardika Party: 14,730 votes (0.8 percent)
- Alliance of Bangsamoro Tri-People’s Party: 11,294 votes (0.6 percent)
- People’s Consultative (Mushawara) Party: 8,006 votes (0.4 percent)
- Indigenous, Settlers, Sama and Minorities Alliance Party: 3,305 votes (0.2 percent)
- Partido Bangon Bangsamoro: 2,587 votes (0.1 percent)
The historic parliamentary elections are set to fill the 80-seat parliament, of which 40 seats are allotted for political parties, 32 seats for district representatives, and eight for sectoral organizations.

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has received 98.38 percent of total election returns (ERs). This is equivalent to 5,128 of the total expected 5,212 ERs.
The Comelec will continue to conduct the parliamentary elections in Maluso, Basilan from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday after it was delayed due to discovery of pre-shaded ballots in 36 out of 68 polling precincts in the town. /gsg
