A 63-year-old woman was arrested during the weekend after police caught her attempting to hide a .45 caliber pistol during a search in Barangay Balungag, San Fernando, Cebu Province. Local police identified the suspect as Anastacia Oacan Escultor, 63, a resident of the barangay. The operation took place around 12:30 p.m. on August 23, 2026.
