The Husband Finale Predictions
Chi-ung May Be the Real Villain All Along
Chi-ung has apparently become the main focus of the finale week. He used to be the trusted friend of Tae-ju and also one of the finest doctors at the hospital. However, as episode 10 ended, we clearly saw his true face.
When Man-hee confronted him, Chi-ung didn’t react with fear. Instead, he smiled. The grin was so evil that we instantly knew he was the big criminal.

That chilling expression strongly suggests that Chi-ung is the one pulling the strings, and he might have been the one who killed Dr. Ha. Dr. Ko is just a big donor of the illegal research that Chi-ung might have orchestrated. He also might be the one who would’ve ordered Man-hee to kill Tae-ju, as he was low-key jealous of him and also didn’t really want him to know the truth.
The finale will likely reveal just how deeply he has been involved in the conspiracy.
Dr Ko’s Empire Is Ready to Collapse
Though Dr Ko is extremely rich and powerful, his legacy is going to collapse. Tae-ju has figured out that Dr Ko has been helping out only VIP clients and has been doing the illegal research for money. Se-yun also has found out that her father is the one who didn’t allow Tae-ju to save Ha-yun, as he forced him to treat a VIP client.
Rather than continuing to defend him, Se-yun will definitely expose her father’s crimes. His reputation is going to crumble, and she is going to take over the hospital.
Man-hee May Sacrifice Himself
Man-hee is surely going to be a tragic character. Man-hee has always been a lonely guy, and it is Gyeongae that truly brought his light. Though they both are psychopaths, they still shared a strong bond and their psychotic nature was misused by the elite.
Now that he knows the truth behind Gyeongae’s rejected surgery and Dr Ha’s role in trying to kill her, revenge has become his only goal. Instead of surviving, Man-hee might finish off all the bad guys, which eventually will lead to his death too. The chances of Gyeongae losing her life are also high.
Tae-ju and Se-yun Finally Deserve Peace
The core of this series is Tae-ju and Se-yun’s broken relationship. After Se-yun learned about her father’s greed, she hugged Tae-ju and apologised for causing him so much pain. Tae-ju also understood her position and hugged her back, meaning he still wants her.
The finale will likely build on that reconciliation. The couple will eventually come out of the conspiracy, handle the terrors, and rebuild their relationship. After all the unimaginable pain of losing a child, a marriage and enduring so much terror, they both will eventually choose each other and restart their life.
Final Thoughts
Everything points toward an emotionally intense finale where some tragic deaths will happen. Chi-ung might be killed or arrested, as he is the key aspect of the finale. Dr Ko will be arrested for his research proceedings, Myung-hee probably will be killed by Man-hee, and eventually, Gyeongae and Man-hee might also be killed.
Above all, the series seems to give Tae-ju and Se-yun what they have spent the entire season fighting for. They will find peace and love after all the heartbreak. If the finale successfully delivers all these aspects, The Husband could conclude as one of this year’s most gripping thriller dramas.
